Pfc. Paul E. Conlon 2008-08-15 21, of Somerville, Mass., died Aug. 15 in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device and then received small arms and rocket-propelled grenade fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
Pfc. Daniel A. C. McGuire 2008-08-14 19, of Mashpee, Mass., died Aug. 14 while supporting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Sgt.  Alex R. Jimenez  2008-07-14 25 , of Lawrence, Mass. On July 10, 2008 the Armed Forces Medical Examiner positively identified human remains recovered in Iraq July 9 to be those of two soldiers who had been previously listed as “Missing-Captured.”

Sgt. Shane P. Duffy 2008-06-04 22, of Tauton, Mass. died June 4 in Tikrit, Iraq, of wounds suffered in Sharqat, Iraq, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces using small arms fire and hand grenades. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.
Spc. Christine M. Ndururih 2007-11-06 21, Dracut, Mass. died Nov. 6 in Camp Arifin, Kuwait. from a non-combat related illness. She was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas
Pfc. Kenneth J. Iwasinski 2007-10-14 22, of West Springfield, Mass., died Oct 14 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations.  He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division,  Fort Carson, Co.
Spc. Ciara Durkin 2007-09-28 29, of Quincy, Mass, died Sept. 28 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered from a non-combat related incident. She was assigned to the 726th Finance Battalion, Massachusetts Army National Guard, West Newton, Mass. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation
Cpl. Jeremy F. Bouffard 2007-08-22 21, of Middlefield, Mass, died in Multaka, Iraq, of injuries suffered when his helicopter crashed. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii:
SSgt. Robert R. Pirelli 2007-8-15 29, of Franklin, Mass, died August 15, in Iraq of wounds sustained from enemy small arms fire. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Ft. Carson, Colo.
SSgt.  Joan J. Duran 2007-8-10 24, of Roxbury, Mass., died August 10 in Iraq of injuries suffered from a non-combat related incident.  He was assigned to the 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.
SSgt. Alicia A. Birchett 2007-8-9 29, of Mashpee, Mass., died Aug. 9 in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries suffered from a non-combat related accident Aug. 8 in Baghdad.  She was assigned to the 887th Engineer Company, 326th Engineer Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
SSgt. Robb L. Rolfing 2007-6-30 29, of Milton, Mass., died June 30 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained from enemy small arms fire. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, Colo.

Bean 2007-5-31 22, of Pembroke, Mass, died at National Naval medical Center, Bethesda, MD. of wounds suffered on May 19 in Lutifiyah, Iraq, when he was struck by enemy small arms fire.
